Fall at Marcus Garvey Dog Run.

We at the dog run committee would like to thank everyone who showed up for both the cleanup and the Halloween party. Thanks to all of you, our dog park is in top top shape and ready for winter. But the highlight of Halloween had to be the costume contest.

Dogs from all around the neighborhood dressed to impress this Halloween. After a rigorous election process (mostly yelling), four winners walked away wagging their tails. Since some couldn’t make it, here’s a recap of our spooky show:

Joaquin chose to forgo the frightening, instead serving us cultivated cuteness with his farm fresh carrots and overwhelmingly tiny overalls.

Cole’s killer clown costume scared our tail between our legs. Between the knife, sharp teeth, and fake blood, this getup is even scarier than the vacuum cleaner!

Of course, the real winners here are everyone who came and showed support for our community!
